This pic is from the Barn Dance at the Palomino on a Tribute to Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran night. From left to right is Me, Candye Kane, and James Intveld. I had about 20 acts on the show including Johnny Meeks, guitarist with Gene Vincent's Blue Caps, Brian Setzer and Slim Jim Phantom of the Stray Cats, Rosie Flores, and an unexpected visit from Marshall Crenshaw who did a couple Gene and Eddie tunes.Eddie Cochran's fiance, Sharon Sheely who co-wrote with Eddie, "Somethin' Else",was in the audience. Sharon also wrote Rick Nelson's first #1 hit "Poor Little Fool".Big Sandy, Jamie James, and Dave and Deke Combo were also on the show. Was an incredible Rockabilly extravaganza.
